Comments:

Phew, worst condx ever experiences in an ARRL Contest.
On 160m just two stations were heard very weakly, but no chance for a QSO.
Zero QSOs on 10m on Saturday. Sunday gave us a patchy 45 minutes opening,
that's all.
Highbands closed very early here in Munich while Italians and Estonians were
still able to run for a while...
Finished 2 hours before the end of the contest due to lack of motivation...
Thanks for all who called and C U in the next one - it can't get much
worse....

Comments:

We had a very good start with QSO numbers quite ahead of our 2014 result. But
Saturday afternoon the highbands closed so earlier that we soon lost the lead.
In the end our score is almost 2 Million short of the 2014 result. Much shorter
opening on the highbands and the lack of at least 30-40 Multiplies on 10m led to
this. On Sunday we somehow missed the chance to run on 10m. When we finally
decided to do it, the band closed 20 minutes later...
Weather conditions were awful with lots of rain and stormy winds on sunday -
but fortunately no damage to the antennas.

Comments:

One day before, we were reduced to 2 OPs, but luckily DD2ML and DL2SAX jumped in
and we were able to score our best ever result in WAG.
Nice condx and an increased number of available multipliers have made this
possible.
Thanks to everybody for the QSOs and Tof DJ6ZM for using his station again.

Comments:

Hi contesters,

many thanks to all stations who called us during the contest.
The same score as last year with almost less QSOs and Mults, but more DX-QSOs.
Due to problems with both second antennas, mostly only the main antennas were
used, so the only directions while sending were AS and NA.
In the last few hours we had incredible runs on 15m and 20m to NA, but also
KH6, VK, YB, ZL called in at this time with very very big S9-sigs!!
10m-band was behind our expectations, only about 100 QSOs were made.
Also many thanks to Toffy, DJ6ZM, for letting us use his station.
Finally we are happy with our score in M/2-category with only 3 Ops (DJ1YFK,
DK6SP and DK7AH) and hope to see you in the next contest.

Comments:

This time we welcomed Alex KU1CW as a guest to our team.
He ran across great conditions right from the start with 20m wide open into
North America working the best per station rate with 126 Qs in the first hour.
But 10m stayed much below our expectations - especially on Sunday where no
significant propagation was present to NA.
But overall a great Contest and apart from a problem with our smaller triband
antenna no major technical problems at the DL1A/DM9K station. Thanks once
again to Tof DJ6ZM - the station owner - for letting us play (and shout) a bit this
weekend !

Comments:

Only M/S entry due to few available operators at DL1A this year.
Bad luck with 160m. It was already 8h into the Contest when we noticed
that our 160m Inverted L was broken. The antenna wire was torn and the pieces
were lying in the roof. With darkness already present and strong rain outside
we only managed to put up the wire a few meters above the roof. SO we missed
lots of Multipliers on top band...

See you in WPX-SSB as DM9K.

Comments:

We only had operators for Saturday but we did not want to miss ARRL-SSB
completely. So we took it easy and used the contest for a bit of new operator
training at the station. Pulled the plug on Saturday at 21:30 UTC in the middle
of a nice 20m RUN.

See you in RDXC.

About 450 QSOs less compared to 2014. Highbands rather poor on Saturday but
improved on Sunday. Good lowband condx this year !
