Comments:

Hi contesters,

many thanks to all stations who called us during the contest.
The same score as last year with almost less QSOs and Mults, but more DX-QSOs.
Due to problems with both second antennas, mostly only the main antennas were
used, so the only directions while sending were AS and NA.
In the last few hours we had incredible runs on 15m and 20m to NA, but also
KH6, VK, YB, ZL called in at this time with very very big S9-sigs!!
10m-band was behind our expectations, only about 100 QSOs were made.
Also many thanks to Toffy, DJ6ZM, for letting us use his station.
Finally we are happy with our score in M/2-category with only 3 Ops (DJ1YFK,
DK6SP and DK7AH) and hope to see you in the next contest.

Comments:

This time we welcomed Alex KU1CW as a guest to our team.
He ran across great conditions right from the start with 20m wide open into
North America working the best per station rate with 126 Qs in the first hour.
But 10m stayed much below our expectations - especially on Sunday where no
significant propagation was present to NA.
But overall a great Contest and apart from a problem with our smaller triband
antenna no major technical problems at the DL1A/DM9K station. Thanks once
again to Tof DJ6ZM - the station owner - for letting us play (and shout) a bit this
weekend !

Comments:

Only M/S entry due to few available operators at DL1A this year.
Bad luck with 160m. It was already 8h into the Contest when we noticed
that our 160m Inverted L was broken. The antenna wire was torn and the pieces
were lying in the roof. With darkness already present and strong rain outside
we only managed to put up the wire a few meters above the roof. SO we missed
lots of Multipliers on top band...

See you in WPX-SSB as DM9K.

Comments:

We only had operators for Saturday but we did not want to miss ARRL-SSB
completely. So we took it easy and used the contest for a bit of new operator
training at the station. Pulled the plug on Saturday at 21:30 UTC in the middle
of a nice 20m RUN.

See you in RDXC.

About 450 QSOs less compared to 2014. Highbands rather poor on Saturday but
improved on Sunday. Good lowband condx this year !

Comments:
WoW !
I still can't believe that we made 15 Million points from our noisy city
location !
The excellent condx and the great activity with many rare mults around made
this possible. Some minor changes to the station setup also paid off.

For station info see www.dl1a.de

Thanks again to our great host Toffy DJ6ZM.

Comments:

First ever serious M/2 operation in the SSB part of CQWW from DL1A.
We are quite happy with the result and the excellent highband conditions on
Saturday. Sunday was perceived much slower here, but still ok.
We missed too many multipliers on the lowbands, especially on 80m - so there is
room for improvement.
See you all in about 4 weeks in our favourite mode...

Hi,
another great contest is history...
Despite of worse condx compared to last year and somehow less multipliers
availabe we enjoyed WAE again very much.
No technical problems at all and a big thanks to Tof DJ6ZM, the station owner,
for the opportunity to use the station.

Many thanks to all stations who called us during this race.
Unfortunately condx on 10m were much below expectations. Saturday was perceived
worse than Sunday also on 15/20.
C U in the next Contest!
